Sean Cashin
President of Cashin Construction Co Inc
With more than thirty years of experience in the construction industry, Sean Cashin began his career in building as a carpenter on a framing crew in Colorado while attending the University of Colorado as an Architecture major. Eventually Sean moved South to Atlanta and started a remodeling firm. Having an Uncle with a home on Hilton Head Island, Sean ultimately ended up living on the Island and continued his work in the construction industry.

On Hilton Head Island, Sean served as an estimator, project manager and production manager for some of the islands largest homebuilding firms.

Starting his own firm in 1990 Cashin built over thirty custom homes in and around Hilton Head Island including many distinctive homes along it’s beaches. Each of these homes reflect the distinctive trademarks of quality and innovative construction techniques that have come to represent Cashin Construction Company.

Sean was elected president of the Hilton Head Island Homebuilders Association in 1999 after serving over 5 years on its board as a builder board member. As president, Sean had a “Green/Sustainable Building” agenda for his term.

After serving as president Sean relocated to the Asheville area with his wife, an interior designer, and his two sons. Cashin believes his clients benefit from his architectural background as well as from having a builder who has built most of his homes with his tool belt on.

As a featured builder in the Ramble, a certified Green Builder and “Healthy Built Homebuilder” Sean has promoted Green building throughout most of his career. Most, if not all of Cashin’s homes have qualified for Energy Star ratings. Cashin’s firm incorporates Green building practices on a regular basis and is well versed in building “healthy, energy efficient homes”.

Cashin has been nominated twice for “Builder of The Year”, is a member of the local and national homebuilders association and is a life “Spike” member of the National HBA.
